October is all about Alpha

We are all on a journey of discovery and many of us have considered the existence of God at one time or another.

Sadly very few people get the opportunity to find out more about God and Jesus beyond what they heard as a child or what they see on TV.

Like thousands of churches in the UK and overseas, we take part in and promote Alpha.

Over 2 million people in the UK and 11 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course. Alpha is an opportunity to explore the 'meaning of life' in a relaxed atmosphere.

Alpha runs for 8 weeks; it clearly explains the Christian faith and gives the opportunity to ask questions. Each evening begins with a selection of deserts and good coffee, enjoyed in the relaxed environment of our Revival Cafe. This is followed by an engaging talk about life, spirituality and the Christian faith.

Alpha is for anyone of any religious belief or none, and there is no need to go to church or have any church background. There is no obligation or pressure and all questions and comments are welcome. Alpha has also proved valuable to Christians across the country to help them clarify and encourage their personal faith.

Why not give Alpha a try, you have nothing to lose and may be surprised at what you discover? The course lasts just eight weeks and is an intelligent, informed, non-pushy, exploration of the Christian faith.
