Harmony Folk Group-
Background/History
The Harmony Folk Group was set up some 33 years ago, and its founder members were Les Cullis, Phil Lewis and Harvey Segal.
The Group was originally named "Spectrum" and its present name was chosen in 1983.
Harmony currently has around 14 members, and we meet every Thursday from 8.30pm to 10.00pm at St Peters Church in Colbeck Road, West Harrow, Middx HA1 4BX.
We put on occasional concerts, primarily in the local community, referred to in the Constitution below.
Harmony Folk Group-Constitution
To develop the musical talents of group members, drawn from the local community in which we meet.
To provide a forum which encourages creativity, friendship and a willingness to support and entertain relevant community organisations:-i.e. Older people in sheltered, residential and nursing homes, physically and mentally disabled and hospitals. |
