St Peters Harrow

	The first core commitment is growth. Jesus left us with a clear instruction, that being to grow his church. We will be doing this by continuing to be seeker friendly, evangelistic, welcoming relevant and warm. This core commitment is to be a church of 200 people in 5 years.
	The second core commitment is to discipleship throughout the family of the church. Jesus has called us to deepen our relationship with him, become aware and use our giftings and live the transforming Christian life. In order to really go deeper in discipleship the second core commitment is to invest heavily in our children’s ministries and see 75% of the adult church population involved in a regular small group within 5 years.
	The third core commitment is to prayer and ministry in the Spirit. We need to press into God in prayer and be equipped transformed and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We will continue to offer ministry team supported prayer as well as expanding our times of corporately responding to the Holy Spirit. Within 5 years we hope to be sending ministry teams to other churches and conferences to resource them in ministry.
	The fourth core commitment is community ministry. This church, more than many, has a huge legacy of effective community ministry. This involves healing ministry, fun days, socials, parenting and family support. Building upon this our fourth core commitment will be to be running sustainable, distinctively Christian and potentially evangelistic, St Peter’s led communiy ministries for families, youth, students and the elderly.
	The fifth core commitment is to worship. St Peter’s has an incredible legacy of worship, this place has been the launch pad for at least three very very gifted and successful worship leaders and countless musicians. God has placed a passion for worship at the center of this church. We believe that God wants to see the worship ministry of this church expand. This will lead us to growing and releasing several more young worship leaders over the next five years and seeing a rotation of our own bands in Sunday worship.
