Friends of West HarrowWest Harrow is a diverse area with a special village feel. The people of West Harrow have a distinct concern for each other and for the needs of their neighbours. During 2009 there have need many issues of concern to local residents including the CPZ and West Harrow Park Tennis scheme. Many of the meetings have taken place within St Peter's Church.The Friends of West Harrow notice board in West Harrow Park has been unused for several years. Here at St Peter's Office we have determined to hold the key, maintain the notice board (clean, de-clutter and regularly overhaul). We will do this as a service to the local community and demonstration of our commitment to community cohesion. We are hugely thankful for the grownd work that Karen, Chris, Alison and others in running Friends of West Harrow and we hope that more of this sort of work will develop in the coming years. The notice board can be used to host advertisements of general interest to the West Harrow community. For obvious reasons, these must not be advertisements for 'pay for' events or services. Free events advertised must take place within the boundaries of the West Harrow Village. If you run events that engage local young people in activities within West Harrow Park, such as football clubs, exercise groups, mums and toddler events, do let us know so we can include your information.
